| PRINCIPLES:
STILLLIFE is founded upon a need to address the diversity within contemporary art and a commitment to exhibiting contemplative and politically charged contemporary work. The gallery represents a core group of artists and new emerging talent, with an aesthetic that examines not only current political concerns, but the concerns of man within the natural world. A world that uncovers hidden truths and metaphors. The gallery embraces work of artists that are primarily concerned with the serenity, the chaos, vitality, and enigma of the earth, the mutant organic in an otherwise industrial world. Our vision encompasses work in the media of: photography, design, painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and combinations thereof. We embrace the scientist, the historian, the politician, and the enlightened individual within each artist. |
