tokyo to osaka 2007, 2 channel video, LCD panels
American artist Leslie Furlong is a photographer and video artist exploring the subject of the ever-transforming landscape and its psychological interpretive effect in shaping our perceptions. Tokyo to Osaka is a 2-channel video installation that follows Tokyo's perimeter on a train ride to Osaka. As it moves through this seemingly urban landscape, it finds traces of agricultural fields. A reflection of the ever blending of man and nature.
